Route Overview

Starting from the north gate, you’ll circle the lake clockwise, passing through tree-lined paths and lakeside promenades. The route includes several scenic viewpoints and tea plantations on the western hills.

What to Expect

  • Surface: Paved roads and bike paths
  • Traffic: Light to moderate; separated bike lanes in most sections
  • Services: Cafes and restrooms every 5-10 km
  • Notable: Su Causeway and Bai Causeway are pedestrian/bike-only zones

Tips

  • Start early (before 8 AM) to avoid crowds
  • Bring a lock if you want to stop for tea
  • Spring brings flowering trees; fall has fewer tourists
